About the Role:
We are looking for a highly driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) with 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales or lead qualification. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys market research, discovery conversations, and data-driven outreach, and wants to grow into a high-impact sales role.
You will be responsible for identifying the right prospects, conducting discovery calls, qualifying opportunities, and supporting the sales pipeline through structured research and CRM-driven execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification & Discovery
- Conduct discovery and qualification calls with inbound and outbound leads.
- Understand prospect pain points, business needs, budget, authority, and timelines.
- Assess fitment for client’s solutions and hand over qualified opportunities to the sales team.
Market & Account Research
- Perform account-level and market research to identify high-potential target accounts.
- Analyze industries, buyer personas, and competitor landscape.
- Build well-researched prospect lists and outreach strategies using structured data.
Outreach & Engagement
- Execute outbound touchpoints via email, LinkedIn, and calls.
- Personalize outreach based on account insights and business context.
- Support ABM and campaign-led outreach initiatives.
Data, Reporting & Tools
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM tools such as Zoho CRM or Salesforce.
- Track lead stages, activities, and follow-ups with discipline.
- Use Excel extensively for lead tracking, reporting, data analysis, and segmentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on outreach, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
AI & Automation Exposure
- Use or support AI-powered tools for prospecting, research, outreach, or reporting.
- Leverage automation tools to improve efficiency in data handling, follow-ups, and workflows.
- Continuously look for ways to optimize SDR processes using technology.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales development, inside sales, or lead qualification.
- Hands-on experience conducting discovery calls and qualifying leads.
- Strong Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning, reporting).
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar.
- Comfortable using data to prioritize leads and measure performance.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualifications Essentials: Graduation with First class and above. Commerce/ Maths/ Science/ Computer Science/ IT/ Technology/ Economics concentrations
- Proficiency in English - Expert level [IELTS Test]
- Qualifications Good to have: Postgraduate / PGDBM
Personal Attributes
- Exposure to AI tools, sales automation, or workflow automation.
- Experience supporting ABM or enterprise sales motions.
- Familiarity with B2B tech, SaaS, EdTech, or IT services sales cycles.
